Hi there! My name is Jason. I have a fantastic wife, best friend, and partner of 30+ years, Tammy. I have four wonderful daughters and two glorious grandchildren. I am a family man and a girl dad. Family is THE most important thing there is.
I have been in the restaurant business all my life and come from a long line family members that love to cook. I have fond memories of large family gatherings with long tables full of home cooking. As I grew up and started a family of my own, we continued the traditions that make a family strong.
I have always had a passion for cooking, especially grilling. Rubs are nice, slow cooked smoked meats are the bomb, but I'm a sauce guy. My ribs need to be triple basted in sauce. There are a lot of decent sauces out there, even a few great ones. But none of them had the pizzaz I was looking for. I decided to experiment and create something different. Something spectacular! Something that you'd rather lick off your fingers than wipe off with a towel. That's when BiG Daddy Jay's Original BBQ Sauce was born! Our friends and family loved it. So much so that Tammy told me I should bottle it and sell it.
Who am I to say no?
So, here I am. Just a family guy trying to share my BBQ sauce with all of you.
